Overview
File Converter is designed to perform many conversions in your browser. When a conversion runs locally, the selected file is processed on your device and is not intentionally uploaded to our server.
Information We Process
- Files you select for conversion, when needed to perform the conversion in your browser.
- Basic local conversion history stored in your browser's local storage.
- Payment and checkout information handled by Stripe when paid conversion credits are used.
- Standard server logs that may include IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of request.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Advertising
The site may use browser storage to remember conversion history and payment-credit status. If advertising is enabled on content pages, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. Ads should not be placed on pages that lack publisher content.
Third-Party Services
Stripe may process payment information for checkout and billing. Hosting providers may process technical logs needed to keep the website available and secure.
Your Choices
You can clear local conversion history by using the browser's site data controls or the in-app history controls. You can also block cookies or advertising identifiers through your browser settings.
